Candy Dish - Amber Sherbet - Stoneware and Vintage Glass
This is a ‘marriage’ piece. It is when a pottery makes a ceramic piece and ‘marries’ it with a another medium, in this case, a vintage sherbet bowl. I made the pedestal, melted glass in the last glaze firing, and then epoxied the two pieces together. This is the perfect item to serve cookies for a tea party or special candies.
This piece is not microware, oven, or dishwasher safe and should be simply hand washed.
Dimensions: Width: top of bowl 6.5” and base is 4”. Height: 5”. Weight: 1.5lbs
