This is a ‘marriage’ piece. It is when a pottery makes a ceramic piece and ‘marries’ it with a another medium, in this case, a vintage candle stick holder. I made the plate and then epoxied the two pieces together. This is the perfect item to serve cookies for a tea party or to serve a decorated cake on.
This piece is not microware, oven, or dishwasher safe and should be simply hand washed.
