I like covered jars for my salt jars. Why? More than once when cooking, I look over and I have splattered sauce or some other cooking delight into my salt! This little far has melted glass in the know giving the color of a cherry. The speckled clay and white glaze allows the red to stand out. This piece is dishwasher safe.
