I like covered jars for my salt jars. Why? More than once when cooking, I look over and I have splattered sauce or some other cooking delight into my salt! This little far has melted glass in the know giving the color of root beer. The speckled clay and white glaze adds to the float feel. This piece is dishwasher safe.
