I like covered jars for my salt jars. Why? More than once when cooking, I look over and I have splattered sauce or some other cooking delight into my salt! This little far has melted glass in the knob giving the color of crystal. The speckled clay and white glaze allows the knob to stand out. This piece is dishwasher safe.
